Autoportrait - "Le feu qui brûle"
This artwork was made during an introspective time. In search of the meaning of life, I had the privilege of questioning my appearance. Through this work, I want to represent myself as I perceive my body and identity, in the manner of ancient works. The power of fire in one hand and death in the mouth, a fire burns, it is that of a disease. Glorious, I take up all the space on my canvas, and the evil is just empty. The body, mocked and caricatured, allows the whole to deliver all the poetry that my reflection (and bodies in general) makes me feel.
